The sludge treatment system consists of two integrated modules:

Spiral Filter Press Dewatering Module

The spiral filter press dewatering module dewaters liquid sludge with percent total solids between 0.5% and 5% to sludge cake with percent total solids between 15% and 25%. Energy requirements for the spiral filter press is 1.0 KWH per dry ton of sludge.

Dehumidification Heat Pump with Mesh Belt

The second is a heat pump Dehumidification module that dries sludge cake with percent total solids between 15% and 25% to 90% totals solids or higher with low energy requirements.

Sludge moisture content can be reduced from 80% to 10% (20% to 90% Solids), adjustable as required.  Sludge weight is reduced by a factor of 4.5.

By original developed “quadruple-effect dehumidifcation technology”, the dehumidifying capacity reaches as high as 4.2kg.H2O/kwh, which is the world’s leading technology standard.

Energy-consumption saved by 50% compared to the traditional drying equipment.

No odor emission during the process in a closed cabinet; no need for expensive odor removal equipment.  Available to be built inside the factory for sludge centralized processing.

The clear condensate water from the drying process can directly drain to sewage pool without any secondary treatment.

No heat waste during the drying process in a closed loop system.

No need for high temperature heating like other open-type drying equipment.

The running cost of drying wet sludge from 83% moisture to 30% is only 180 kwh/t.

Low processing temperature of 40-75C in a closed cabinet with no need for nitrogenization.

  • Oxygen content  < 12%
  • Dust concentration < 60g/m3
  • Dried sludge temperature < 70C

Outlet sludge < 50C requiring no need for secondary cooling which allows it to be stored directly.

Adopting durable and anticorrosive material to make sure a service life as long as 15 years.

Modularization design for easy assembly while saving floor space.  Suitable for any working condition at high or low temperatures.

With pasteurization (low-temperature heating sterilization) at 70C drying for 90-120 minutes, it can sterilize over 90% bacteria effectively.
